Marianne finds germs on surfaces

Why did you choose this project?
Mummy gave me the idea and I loved it because you get to do fun things and test what surface has the most germs.

What did you enjoy most about the project?
I enjoyed finding the bacteria when they grew on the petri dishes. That was very very exciting! I also liked guessing which surface would have the most bacteria.

What have you learned from the project?
I have learnt that there is bacteria everywhere but you can't see them when there's just one. But when they grow you can see millions and trillions together! I also learnt that you should wash your hands before you eat so you don't get sick.

How did your parent or mentor help you?
My mummy helped me by telling me how to do each step and also by videotaping the experiment.
